Available Suture Materials
Polyglactin 910 (Absorbable Braided)
Synthetic absorbable braided suture designed for soft tissue approximation and ligation where gradual absorption is desired. It provides excellent handling and knot security.
Typical use:
General surgery, gynecology, gastrointestinal closure, soft tissue repair.
Polyglycolic Acid – PGA (Absorbable Braided)
High strength synthetic absorbable suture with predictable absorption and reliable tissue support during the healing phase.
Typical use:
Internal tissue closure, ligation, and soft tissue repair.
Nylon / Polyamide (Non-Absorbable Monofilament)
Smooth monofilament suture with high tensile strength and minimal tissue reaction. Ideal for skin closure and procedures requiring long-term support.
Typical use:
Skin closure, plastic surgery, general surgery.
Polypropylene (Non-Absorbable Monofilament)
Inert monofilament suture with excellent resistance to infection and long-term tissue compatibility.
Typical use:
Cardiovascular surgery, skin closure, hernia repair.
